We CAN Help:

1. We specialise in Musculoskeltal disorders and return to work, retention in work and rehabilitation for work and can advise on general and specific matters regarding these areas.

2.  Any situations involving and injured or "ill" employee(s) who has a medical condition that would be classed as a musculo-skeletal condition - such as back pain, knee pain. post orthopaedic surgery, RSI / Work related upper limb disorder, trapped nerves, frozen shoudler etc. We can also advise on fitness for work follwing general ill health that has resolved but now leaves a general fitness issue.

3. Strategic management of workplace sickness absence resulting from musculoskeletal problems, manual handling, repetitive upper limb activities etc.

4. We can give starting advice and may refer you / signpost you on to another health profesional for other medical conditions such as neurological problems, respiratory problems and mental health issues, or for more information about general health promotion activities

 

We CANNOT help:

1. We are not employment law advisors, or lawyers. We do not claim to give legal advice. We recommends that you contact an organisation such as EEF (go to link) for employment law advice.

2. We are not HR advisors. We are not exprets in HR management and are not able to get involved in disciplinary proceedings or advise on when such actions should be taken. We recommends that you contact an organisation such as EEF (go to link) or the CIPD to find a suitable consultant for HR managment advice.

3. We are not employment advisors for people who are not in work so cannot advise on redeployment to a new company or on complete retraining of an individual. We may be able to recommend a referral on to an associate or another organisation.

4. We do not provide general occupational health services - we do not provide doctors or nurses or technicians.
