Advanced Work Performance Assessment and Management Reports

  • For employees with long term absence over 4 weeks

An extensive assessment for those employees who have been off sick approaching or over 4 weeks, or those with recurrent absence and / or complex conditions. The assessment fully explores the job demands and physical stresses and correlates that to the physical capability of the employee. Includes structured interviews and a full physical examination by a Specialist Physiotherapist. Reports - provides management reports on fitness for work, treatment and rehabilitation needs, return to work planning and workplace adjustments to facilitate a swift return to work.

    WorkPlace Performance Assessment

    • Identifies areas of mismatch between the workplace requirements and the employee's physical capacity
    • Uses a functional scoring system that makes tests relevant and repeatable
    • Pinpoints areas for improvement in the employee's movement
    • Pinpoints areas for improvement in the work environment
    • Includes video analysis

    A unique combined approach to assessing an employee's work capacity. Functional movement testing that can be carried out at the work site, assessing the individual's performance of their physical tasks combined with ergonomic assessment. Identifies environmental conditions and the physical abilities of the individual that could lead to recurring injury or failure to successfully return to work.

    Pre- Requisite: WP Employee Fit 4 Work Assessment or Advanced Assessment

    Return to Work Progress Reviews

    • checks that RTW plan is on schedule
    • updates / modifies the RTW plan if necessary
    • checks that progress is being made with medical treatment as expected

    A review of progress of an employee who already has a rehabilitation and return to work plan to ensure that the plans are being implemented and are effective. Monitors, updates and case manages work status via phased and graduated return to work plans.

    Functional Rehabilitation Programmes

    • Work orientated rehabilitation to ensure employee can carry out work tasks
    • Progress measured against functional test scores from Workplace assessment

    Once the workplace performance assessment has been completed, a rehabilitation or "restoration" programme can be devised by Heather. This can take place alongside or after other treatments such as physiotherapy. It is individually structured to address the physical capacity issues identified during the Workplace assessment.
